Design-on-Design caught up with Australian designer Marc Harrison. Marc, most well known for his Husque Bowl made with macadamia nut shells, shares the importance of designers being influenced by their local identity and environment rather than from what is happening internationally. For Design-on-Design's first ever interview I chatted to Jesse Costelloe who designs, manufacture and sells HiFi sound systems under the banners of Oden and Evok. The interesting thing about Jesse is that he is only 22 years old and has no formal design education. What he does have instead is guts, determination and the ability to fully utilise the help that he has been given along the way.
